Protection measures

  • SPD in the main panel.
  • Local SPDs on sensitive lines.
  • Proper grounding.
  • Separation of high and low current circuits.
  • Protection of communication lines where necessary.

Important

Protection must be designed holistically. A single SPD does not solve every surge problem.
