Low pressure in the heating circuit is a common problem in domestic boilers. If the pressure drops below the permissible limit, the boiler may display an alarm or stop working.
Minor water loss
A leak in a radiator, valve, connection, or pipe can cause a gradual drop in pressure.
Radiator bleeding
After bleeding radiators, it may be necessary to restore pressure because air and a small amount of water are removed.
Expansion vessel
If the expansion vessel is not working properly, the pressure may rise significantly when the water heats up and drop sharply when it cools down.
Frequent refilling
If water needs to be added frequently, it is not normal. The cause must be identified rather than just topping it up constantly.
