Connecting a natural gas boiler involves more than just gas piping. Supply, isolation valve, flue, condensate drain, and electrical connections must be checked.

Gas supply

The piping must ensure the required supply at the boiler's maximum output.

Isolation valve

There must be an accessible valve so the boiler can be isolated for maintenance.

Flue

The flue gas extraction system must be approved for the specific model and have a correct path and termination.

Condensates

Condensing boilers produce condensate water, which must be drained properly without leaks or backflow.

First start-up

The commissioning process must include checks for gas pressure, combustion, safety devices, and tightness.
