Natural gas pressure must remain within the device's allowable limits. If it drops too much, the boiler may exhibit unstable operation or stop.
When it occurs
The problem may appear only when multiple appliances are operating simultaneously.
Small pipe diameter
Under-dimensioned installations may have normal pressure without consumption but a significant drop under load.
Regulator or meter
Upstream problems can also restrict the available supply.
Symptoms
Frequent failed ignitions, low power, or supply-related alarms may require a pressure check.
Correct diagnosis
Measurement must be taken both without load and while the appliance is operating.
