The buffer tank adds water volume to the hydraulic circuit and helps the heat pump operate more stably.
Why it is needed
It reduces frequent start-stops, absorbs sudden load changes, and helps ensure the minimum required flow.
When it is particularly useful
In installations with multiple zones, fan coils with solenoid valves, or a small total water volume.
It does not solve all problems
A buffer does not, by itself, correct incorrect supply, poor balancing, or oversizing.
