If pressure is normal before start-up and drops suddenly as soon as the solenoid valve opens, it indicates that the network cannot meet the instantaneous flow demand.

Measurement before and after

Pressure is recorded simultaneously before the filter, after the regulator and before the burner.

Filter

High differential pressure indicates a possible restriction due to contamination.

Regulator

If the inlet remains stable but the outlet collapses, the capacity and condition of the regulator are examined.

Valve not opening fully

Mechanical sticking or incorrect positioning may be choking the flow immediately after the open command.

Total network supply

In a shared network with many consumers, starting an additional burner may exceed the available supply.
