After any repair on a natural gas network, the supply must be restored only after specific checks are completed.
Checking the repaired point
Confirm the mechanical assembly, the correct installation of gaskets, and the condition of all affected connections.
Leak test
The repaired section is tested using the approved method and in accordance with the prescribed pressure and duration.
Valves and instruments
Verify that all valves are in the correct position and that instruments have been correctly reconnected.
Removal of temporary elements
Blind flanges, temporary plugs, jumpers or test connections must have been removed or placed in the correct final state.
Restart
Supply is restored in a controlled manner, and pressure, alarms, and potential signs of leakage are monitored.
