Visual inspection
They are checked for cracks, deformations, kinks, corrosion, wear of the protective mesh, and unusual tension.
End connections
The connection points on both sides are potential leak points and must be checked separately.
Mechanical loading
A flexible connection must not be used to correct poor pipe alignment.
Detector check
A slow scan is performed along the element and especially around the ends.
Replacement
If there are signs of mechanical wear or impermissible deformation, the element is evaluated for replacement according to the manufacturer's instructions.
