An organized pressure and flow check helps to quickly identify whether the problem lies in the supply, the meter, the regulator, or the piping.
1. Static pressure recording
Pressure is measured with the main consumers turned off.
2. Dynamic pressure recording
Pressure is measured while the installation is operating at a representative or high load.
3. Meter check
Verify that the instantaneous flow rate is within the allowable Qmin–Qmax range.
4. Regulator check
Compare inlet and outlet pressure at different loads.
5. Filter check
Record the differential pressure to determine if there is a restriction.
6. Data recording
Pressure, flow rate, load, and time are recorded to ensure a clear history for comparison and diagnosis.
