Underfloor heating manifold with heat pump: flow rates, flow meters and actuators

The manifold is the central distribution point for underfloor heating and allows for the control of each loop individually.

Flow meters

They indicate the flow rate of each loop and allow for basic hydraulic balancing.

Actuators

They are installed on the returns or on the corresponding manifold valves and open or close the flow based on a thermostat command.

Different loop lengths

Loops do not always have the same hydraulic resistance. Therefore, the flow rate must be adjusted individually.

Maintenance

Flow meters, valves, actuators, air vents, and the cleanliness of the circuit water are checked.
