The selection of a fan coil should not be based solely on the nominal capacity from the catalog. Actual performance depends on the water temperature, ambient room temperature, and fan speed.

Water temperature

The lower the supply temperature for heating, the lower the thermal capacity delivered by the same fan coil.

Fan speed

At high speed, performance increases, but noise levels and power consumption also increase.

Correct selection

The fan coil must meet the room's thermal load at the water temperature that the heat pump will actually provide.

Cooling mode check

If it is also to be used for cooling, the sensible and latent cooling capacity, as well as condensate management, must also be checked.
