In many residences, part of the natural gas piping is located externally. Exposure to weather, moisture, and mechanical stress requires proper protection.
Anti-corrosion protection
The piping must be protected against corrosion and coatings must be kept in good condition.
Supports
Supports must be suitable for outdoor use and must not create points where water can accumulate.
Mechanical protection
In low or exposed areas, the risk of impact from objects or work activities must be avoided.
Wall penetrations
Entry points into the building must be properly protected so that the pipe is not damaged.
Periodic inspection
Check paint, corrosion, connections, and supports, especially after work on the facade or balcony.
