Why is there air and sludge in the circuit?

Over time, microbubbles, oxygen, and black magnetic sludge from the corrosion of metallic parts can form.

The air separator

Removes microbubbles that are not easily removed by simple air vents alone.

The magnetic separator

Retains magnetic particles, mainly magnetite, before they enter circulators, heat exchangers, and narrow passages.

What we gain

  • Less noise.
  • Lower risk of circulator blockage.
  • Protection of the boiler or heat pump heat exchanger.
  • Better flow stability.

Example

If a new circulator blocks again in an old network, the cause may be system dirt and not the circulator itself.

Maintenance

The separator must be cleaned according to the manual and with safe isolation of the circuit.
