The air-to-water heat pump extracts heat from the outside air and transfers it to the installation's water.

Where is it used?

It can supply underfloor heating, fan coils, low-temperature radiators, and a domestic hot water tank.

Key advantage

It does not require drilling or an underground network, therefore the installation is usually simpler than a geothermal solution.

Key limitation

Performance is affected by the outside temperature and the water temperature requested by the building.
