High consumption does not necessarily mean a fault. It must first be correlated with outdoor temperature, setpoints, and thermal load.
Common causes
High supply temperature, frequent activation of the backup heater, continuous defrosting, or low COP due to poor configuration.
What we measure
Electrical kWh, thermal output, compressor operating hours, and backup heater operating hours.
Goal
To distinguish between an actual fault and misuse or incorrect parameterization.
