What is differential pressure
It is the pressure difference between supply and return that moves the water through the network.
When it is too high
- Valve noise occurs.
- Flow rates increase.
- Proper regulation becomes difficult.
When it is too low
Remote branches may not receive enough water.
Goal
The pump and valves must work together so that the pressure is sufficient but not excessive.
