What a flow control valve does

It regulates the amount of water passing through a branch to achieve the required flow rate.

Where it is used

  • In radiators.
  • In fan coils.
  • In underfloor heating.
  • In individual zones.

Common problem

If it is closed too much, the branch will not perform. If it is opened too much, it may steal flow from other branches.
