When natural condensate drainage is not possible, a small condensate pump is used.

Float switch

The float detects the rise of the water level in the pan or the pump reservoir.

Pump startup

When the level rises, the pump transfers the water to the drainage network.

Alarm or interlock

Many systems feature a second safety contact that can stop the fan coil if the water level becomes excessive.

Maintenance

The pan, float, and piping must be cleaned to avoid clogs and overflows.
